Wow, I haven't been on DA for ages. But I really want to get back into it... I just got a new camera, so I can definitely get some better shots now. I'm so excited. Its a Nikon D3000. I'm not REALLY familiar with it yet, so I'm still not 100% confident in the photos, but the more I practice the more I will improve. I was sort of discouraged with my old camera, I wasn't really getting what I wanted from my photos. So I saved up every cent and bought my new camera! I am thrilled with it, and I'm still familiarizing myself with it. But its getting better. I've been looking for photo shoot ideas, and I'm always looking for new ideas. I'm doing a photo shoot this Sunday, and I'm feeling really good about it because I enjoy photographing people's faces and trying to bring out different emotions. And this one is all about color, which i also LOVE, so i feel like this will be a strong photo shoot for me.

I am currently excited for Disneyland, I'm going with some family, and hopefully, a friend of mine. Not going to take my camera there, too many dangerous odds for it to get ruined or destroyed or something. I'm paranoid. haha

On another note, I have never been happier with life. I am for the first time sure of myself, confident in what I want and it feels good. I have wonderful friends and family and I have absolutely nothing to be upset about! I AM SO HAPPY! i just want to proclaim it. lol its like being in love, which i might be i don't know yet. I'll see how things go...

For now, I should go to bed, because i haven't slept properly in a while. Goodnight!

P.S. Today I realized I've given garlics abortions. yeah... sleep on that.

So... i knocked out 2 of the three things.
Most importantly. I went to DISNEYLAND! Finally. after living for 17 years i went. And it was so fun. lol it was like forever ago, but i had forgotten how much fun blogging was. (or whatever you call this) lol so now i write about it. I went with Danny (a friend of mine) and we went on like all the major rides and some kiddy rides lol. I never thought i would like rollercoasters. But i LOVED it. Space mountain and indiana Jones. TOTALLY AWESOME! and splash mountain would have been good too, if i hadnt sat in the front and it was night time. But dude i loved it. SO MUCH! i can't wait to go back!

and the second, i went to In-n-Out. And it was really really really good. I didnt think i liked burgers, but i do. from there anyway. so yeah. i went with kashi (my bestie) it was cool. lol so i feel accomplished. You may now congratulate me !

I realize that everytime I tell people that I haven't been to Disneyland, they look at me like I'm crazy. I'm not really sure why, but they do. And somehow, I feel kinda proud saying I haven't been to Disneyland. It makes me unique. lol But in any case, I think I'd like to lose my Disneyland "virginity" (pardon my french). So I might just ask for a trip to Disneyland for my birthday, or maybe graduation.

Just tonight I was at Luau Maui Hawaiian BBQ, and Conrad looks across the street to discover and In-n-Out. He looks over at me excited and asks "have you ever been there." I shake my head no, and his face is filled with disappointment, shock, disbelief and possibly even sympathy. I think he realizes I was (and still am) very sheltered. Even when it comes to the food I eat, all in all I can't say I mind too much the fact that I've never eaten there, but I am curious. Conrad told me the food was pretty much as top notch as fast food goes, the buns are toasted, the potatoes are fresh cut, not frozen. It sounds like its worth a try, so who knows what opportunities may arise.

A few weeks ago I was texting with a friend of mine. She told me she was at Jack in the Box, the proceeded to ask me what I usually ordered when I went there. I promptly texted back "I've never been there." within seconds of sending the text I got another one saying "whhaatt?! Never been to Jack in the Box?! Why not?! Where have you been living!?" After a short rofl I texted back "never been there, never felt the need, living in my house." But it completely astonished her that I had never enjoyed the delicacy which is Jack in the Box food. But to be honest, the big headed man scares me O_O

So I feel like this year went by way too fast. Today I sat trying to think of the bad things that had happened this year, and I really couldnt think of that many. All I could think about was the good times I've had with my friends and family. And even from the bad things, something good came out of it.
2009-
1) I met my boyfriend this year (in september)
2) I made some new friends
3) I've gotten closer to some old friends
4) I've learned to see people for who they really are, rather than making them out to be what I want them to be.
5) I finished highschool
6) I learned new things about myself.
7) I've changed, some things for the better, something not so much for the better. lol
8) I've found a new talent, and refined some old ones.
9) I've started to try to appreciate myself for what I am and what I can be.
10) I have set goals for myself and made plans to make them happen.
2010-
1) I want to start driving.

3) I want to spice up my wardrobe.
4) I want to get myself a Nikon D90 (or D60)
5) I want to get myself an iPod touch
6) I want to buy a car.
and the one I'll probably need the most tenacity for....

I could use ideas and such for the kinds of photos I should take. As many ideas as you've got I'll take them.
